TITLE: Line Operator

DIVISION: Machining - Comac

DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO:  Production Supervisor

FLSA STATUS: Hourly – Non-exempt

PAY GRADE:  11

Mathematics: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

Reasoning and Problem Solving:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.  Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

TITLE: Trimmer

DIVISION: Casting

DEPARTMENT Trim

REPORTS TO: Press Team Lead

FLSA STATUS: Hourly

MISSION: 

To ensure that customers receive a quality die cast product by removing unwanted runners and biscuits with a Trim Die Press, removing unwanted flash with a Wheelabrator and hand files, and by inspecting all parts before packaging for final shipment. 

ESSENTIAL GOALS, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and Experience:   High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Communication:  Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.  Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Mathematics:  Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning and Problem Solving:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

TITLE: Remelt

DIVISION: Casting

DEPARTMENT Remelt

REPORTS TO: Remelt Lead

FLSA STATUS: Hourly – Non-Exempt

MISSION: 

To ensure that customers receive a quality die cast product by supplying the Casting Press with the proper molten alloy in a timely manner and ensuring that all scrap is collected for reuse.   

ESSENTIAL GOALS, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

MISSION:  To ensure that customers receive a quality die cast product by casting components using a Casting Press and guaranteeing that quality castings are sent to the Trim Press.
