HENDERSON, Ky. - Kyndle's next Brown Bag Lunch will feature Downtown Henderson Partnership Executive Director Beth Strawn presenting the "Love What's Local — Downtown Holiday Shopping Preview."
The one-hour presentation will begin at noon on Monday, Dec. 1, at the Kyndle office on the fifth floor of the Soaper Building at Second and Main streets.
The event is part of the DHP's ongoing effort to encourage members of the community to "Shop Small" through the Love What's Local, Buy Local campaign.
"Supporting friends, neighbors and local artisans keeps dollars in the community and creates a thriving downtown. Small businesses continue to be one of the largest employers and are truly the backbone of our country," Strawn said in a statement.
Strawn will also be unveiling a Love What's Local surprise for 2015 during the Brown Bag Lunch.
The Brown Bag Lunch is free to Kyndle Stakeholders. Attendees can bring their own lunch or contact Kyndle to have lunch arranged for them.
