Kyndle CEO Tony Iriti has named Ellen Redding as interim Vice President of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce within the KYNDLE umbrella. Mrs. Redding will work with Member Services Coordinator, Jordan Staples and the KYNDLE staff to bring a new outline of membership benefits and levels of participation.
Ellen is from Henderson and has raised her three boys here with husband, Randall. She received her Communication Degree from Murray State University and worked for the Henderson County Schools for 12 years in Community Education and Communications. Ellen worked with the Northwest Kentucky Training Consortium (NKTC) to get it back to its original mission of education and development training for business and industry in the area. Her expertise with communications and strategic planning will help develop the new membership plan for the Chamber of Commerce.
Jordan was born and raised in Henderson and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University. Her expertise includes sales, account management and new business development. She spent four years as a Respiratory Sales Specialist targeting major healthcare practitioners and businesses to sell specific pharmaceutical products. Her experience in coordinating plans, strategies and programs will ensure customer satisfaction for member businesses.
The Henderson-Henderson County Chamber of Commerce and the Northwest Kentucky Forward (NWKF) merged in 2014 to form Kentucky Network for Development, Leadership and Engagement (KYNDLE). The economic development portion (formerly NWKF) serves Henderson, Union, and Webster Counties. The Chamber of Commerce serves Henderson County.
The Henderson Chamber of Commerce is taking a new direction with establishing a new logo. Tony Iriti, CEO of KYNDLE explains the repositioning well, “We felt the Chamber of Commerce was suffering from an identity crisis since the merger and needed to be reenergized. With a fresh new logo, the return of the Chamber name, and restructuring of our member benefits, the changes bring a whole new energy to our organization. I am very excited about this reboot.”
The Chamber of Commerce is not separating from KYNDLE, but will remain under the umbrella of Kyndle as normal, sharing staff and resources while working with Economic Development to provide a synergy of services for our region. The main change for the public will be the new logo.
The new logo is for easy identification within our community and beyond. The feather that is incorporated into the logo unites the Chamber with the tourism branding of our community.
A new tier level membership benefits plan will also be implemented for 2019 to provide a clearer understanding of services offered. Members will join based upon the level of benefits desired. Businesses will have an opportunity to support events and participate in networking opportunities at many levels.
“This needed rebranding will clarify our role to the community of Henderson, but more importantly, will help outsiders and business prospects know that Henderson is open for business with an active and energetic Chamber of Commerce.” states Cory Bridges, KYNDLE Commerce Council President.
