St. Anthony’s Hospice revealing new project to community on November 25

HENDERSON, Ky. - St. Anthony’s Hospice is honored to present and bless “The Giving Tree” to our community during a Public Open House at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, November 25th at the Methodist Hospital Main Lobby, 1305 N Elm Street in Henderson.

“The Giving Tree” has been generously donated by our community and has been created by local artist, Iris Gentry. The tree was created to recognize individuals whose loved ones have made a contribution in honor or in memory to St. Anthony’s Hospice. The tree will be featured in the Lucy Smith King Care Center.

Kendra Marsh, St. Anthony’s Hospice Executive Director stated, “We wanted our families to have another way to remember their loved ones and “The Giving Tree” project will provide a way to celebrate the lives we have lost in this community as well as support the mission of St. Anthony’s Hospice.”

All memorial gifts given in memory or in honor of loved ones will accumulate to go towards the purchase of a leaf on The Giving Tree. The project will begin with names of individuals who have received the accumulated amount of donations as of January 1, 2014.

St. Anthony’s Hospice encourages our community to remember your loved ones by participating in purchasing leaves regardless if they were served by hospice care.
