Non-profit CEOs to share tips on leadership at Kyndle seminar

HENDERSON, Ky. - Executives from eight Tri-State non-profit organizations will share their thoughts on leadership and management at the next Kyndle Leadership Series seminar, set for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 29 at One Life Church in Henderson.
"This is a great opportunity for non-profits in our region to provide continuing education and leadership training to their teams," said Kyndle CEO Brad Schneider, who will serve as the seminar's host. "During the recession, I know many non-profit groups had to cut back on professional development budgets. This seminar is an inexpensive and valuable way for those agencies and their executives to get training we know they want and need."

The Non-Profit Leadership seminar costs $25 a person for Kyndle stakeholders, $35 for non-stakeholders and includes both a light breakfast and lunch.

Attendees will hear from speakers from a wide range of organizations, including Ray Raisor, CEO of Easter Seals of Southwestern Indiana; Cyndee Burton, administrator for Matthew 25 AIDS Services; Lynn Miller-Pease, Executive Director of Leadership Evansville; Lori Reed, Community Development Director for  Community One Inc.; Bob Seymore, CFO of One Life Network; Kevin Bain, CEO of the Welborn Baptist Foundation; and Rev. Adrian Brooks, Pastor of Memorial Baptist Church.

"Well over 200 years of experience running and growing non-profits is represented in that group," Schneider said. "Their insights and perspectives will be applicable to any size organization or circumstance. We're very excited to have such a great lineup of contributors."
