Area legislators will discuss matters coming before the 2016 Kentucky General Assembly at Kyndle's Legislative Preview Breakfast.
The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11, at the Henderson Fine Arts Center on the Henderson Community College campus. Big Rivers Electric Corporation is sponsoring the event.
"With Gov. Matt Bevin's new administration and some significant budget challenges to address, this should be one of the most interesting and impactful legislative sessions we've seen in awhile," Kyndle CEO Brad Schneider said. "I urge all Kyndle Stakeholders and anyone else who wants to fully understand what's at stake to join us for the breakfast and hear from our legislators directly."
State Senators Dorsey Ridley of Henderson and Joe Bowen of Owensboro as well as State Representatives Dr. David Watkins of Henderson, Suzanne Miles of Owensboro and Jim Gooch of Providence have all been invited to speak and offer their perspectives on the upcoming session and answer questions.
The cost for the breakfast is $13 for Kyndle Stakeholders and $18 for Non-Stakeholders.
