Accuride Wheel Plants Receive Masters of Quality Awards From Daimler Trucks North America

Accuride Corporation (NYSE: ACW) – a leading supplier of components to the North American commercial vehicle industry – today announced that two of its wheel production facilities have received the “Masters of Quality” Supplier Award from Daimler Trucks North America for their performance in 2014.  Accuride’s Henderson steel wheel plant in Henderson, Ky., and the Accuride de Mexico steel and aluminum wheel plant in Monterrey, Mexico, both received the award for their 2014 performance.  This is the 11th such award for the Henderson plant and the fourth award for Accuride de Mexico.  Representatives of Accuride Henderson Operations will receive their award at DTNA’s Supplier Day in Indianapolis, Ind., on September 29th, while Accuride de Mexico received its award previously.

The annual program now in its 28th year recognizes outstanding suppliers that have received high scores on their quality, delivery, technology and cost performance as measured on a Balanced Scorecard. These suppliers demonstrate an on-going commitment to continuously improving the quality of their products and overall performance of their businesses.
